Learning Guitar Soloing + So Much More!

Hi all - I just wanted to share a bunch of stuff I've learned so far in my musical journey of just over a year now. I thought this project of creating a backing track for me to learn guitar soloing would be a great example to showcase what I've learned. First off, thanks to my teacher, Mark . I've learned so much in a relatively short time. I won't make this an instructional post on guitar soloing, as Mark is way better at that than I am but instead show how I learned to make a backing track and a video and talk a little about the assignment. Recently we've started working on soloing. My assignment was to solo using the A minor pentatonic scale over a 12 bar blues backing track. His assignment looks something like this: There are tons of YouTube backing tracks for playing along to but I couldn't find one that fit the assignment so I decided to create one myself.
